Remember Kingston
This December will mark the 16th anniversary of TVA's Kingston Coal Ash Spill, the largest industrial spill in U.S. history. Families and allies of cleanup workers are raising funds to help honor the workers and all whose lives have been forever impacted by this historic disaster.
Appalachian Voices is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Please keep your receipt as your official record. We'll email it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
We are aiming to raise $3,875 for three billboards at locations near the Kingston coal plant, as well as a full-page remembrance ad in the Roane County News. We invite you to help us honor the cleanup workers by contributing to this anniversary project.
